The Sacramento Jazz Camp's repertoire is an on going project and grows by 20 - 50 tunes a year. Each song is transposed into lead sheets for C treble, C bass, Bb treble and Eb treble instruments. Vocalists are provided with lead sheets transposed into their keys. The bands are also provided with the appropriate lead sheets to accommodate the vocalist keys. Performances are balanced between instrumental selections and vocal selections. Head arrangements are devised throughout the camp's rehearsal process by the bands themselves.

The selections chosen for the repertoire are songs usually associated with the classic or "old school" era of jazz. Spirituals, blues, traditional jazz, dixieland, swing and old standards are some (but not all) of the categories we select from.

If you wish to contribute to the camp's classic jazz repertoire you may do so by submitting your Finale files to Rusty Stiers.
