Dear Jubilee Fans,
Our 35th annual Sacramento Jazz Jubilee was a grand celebration and a great tribute to an event that has become an institution in Sacramento.
If you attended the closing ceremony at Freeway Gardens, you know the buoyant feeling that everyone carried away from the 2008 Jubilee.
Even with a stagnant economy, high gas prices, and rain, our festival still attracted 63,500 revelers!
To ensure that the Jubilee continues as the healthy institution it is, we are launching Campaign 36 and asking for an individual donation of $36 from our volunteers, fans, patron members, boosters, and STJS members and board of directors.
Your participation in Campaign 36 is strictly voluntary and 100% tax deductible. (Our tax ID number is 23-7132119.) We know that many of you are as passionate about the Jubilee as we are, and just as proud of contributing in so many ways to enable our event to thrive for 35 years.
In return for your participation — and to say thank you for your help — you'll become eligible for our Campaign 36 Drawing next spring. The winner/s will ride in a classic car in the Opening Day Parade, and a performance venue will showcase your name.
A successful Campaign 36 will put us on the right track to celebrate our 36th year, allowing us to look forward to many more Jubilees.
