Django Reinhardt Birthday – Django Reinhardt was born on January 23, 1910 in Liberchies, Belgium. His family was of Romani descent and they traveled around Europe in a caravan, playing music to earn a living. Django learned to play the guitar at a young age and began performing with his family as a child.
He got his start in music by playing in cafes and on the streets of Paris. He soon became a sought-after performer, known for his unique style of playing jazz guitar. Despite suffering from a fire accident that left him with limited use of two fingers on his left hand, he continued to develop his playing style and became one of the most influential jazz guitarists of all time.
