Ella Celebrated her 40th Birthday by Giving a Live Concert in Rome
Here are some reviews:
You think the two Berlin concerts were hot? This one was smoking all the way and Ella knew from the first downbeat that she had her audience right where she wanted them. ~ WrightReview
There’s a lot more Scat on the Hollywood CD’s but I prefer this one where there is just enough and not overkill. You won’t regret getting this one for your collection, it is now my favorite of all her CD’s I have! ~ ChiChi16
This lady had a voice that no one yet has been able to even come close to. this really great cd shows a side of Ella ‘s more humorous side during this concert. ~ Linda l Holder
Everyone should have this CD in their collection it is amazing. I have enjoyed it from the first day I got it. ~ Deborah
The CD begins with the happiest rendition of “St. Louis Blues” I’ve ever heard. Ella sings, scats and romps through this number which boasts an excellent musical arrangement. ~ Matthew G. Sherwin
